A little more about our lesson program..
We have been teaching people and training horses for over 30 years and have set up a lesson plan to bring you the most success in the shortest amount of time. Our passion is to share the magic of horses with every person we meet and hopefully create as many horse crazy people as we can along the way! Our Training Program allows us to offer safe horses and a step-by-step program to help you learn not only how to ride, but how to correctly understand and communicate with horses. We consider the Erin Valley team part of our family and do our best to supply you only with the highest quality of coaching. As our program is progressive, all students will start with the basic horsemanship skills our program is based on and move up from there. We do accept funding through autism, Kool School & Jumpstart! Please reach out to us to confirm your spot if you would like to register our lessons through funding. Unfortunately we have a weight limit of 230 lbs until we are able to add some more horses to our string.
November Lessons
Located at an Indoor Riding Arena in Dallas!
Our group lessons are done in groups of 4. We find group lessons can help build confidence and give you the opportunity to learn both hands on and from spectating the other students. Our group lesson registration is done here on the website but never hesitate to reach out to us if you have any questions or are unsure of which class is best for you or you would like to see if a different day/time is available. This set of lessons will all be a mix of horsemanship and rodeo! In addition to November lessons it will be a possibility to attend an off site barrel race for students that are ready. These races are held in Pritchard on November 15th & November 29th. If this is something you are interested in please let us know with your registration.
In order to make sure everyone is placed in the best group for them to learn and have fun, please register by giving us with some information of your preferred day and time as well as payment and we will contact you to confirm your day.

Our Winter Coaches
|
Lynette Mills is the owner of Erin Valley Riding Stables! She has been teaching people and training horses for the last 30 years and continues to love every minute of it! She has been out of the Lesson Program for the past 10 years while she was travelling the world teaching the Training Thru Method her and her husband created. We are over to moon to have her back on the team! Her love for people and horses is larger than I have ever seen.
|
Kelcie Mills is our head rodeo coach and runs our Rodeo Academy in the summer months. My passion for teaching started at a young age. I spent my childhood years very involved in rodeo and became an ambassador for the sport itself. I witnessed huge changes throughout my rodeo years growing up, not only in myself, but the people around me. Learning to put your faith in an animal, work together to train and practice and become responsible for the health of an another can be life changing. Horses have never been just an animal to me but a best friend and a partner. Rodeo taught me to work hard, stay positive, have faith in the unknown, support my peers, how to win and most importantly how to loose.
